"The granny square is the classic crochet motif, and it is often one of the first things that a person masters as they begin learning how to crochet. It is simple to do – and today on the occasion of International Granny Square Day I thought of doing something with the theme of granny square and my favorite thing is bookmark. This Classic Granny Square Bookmark is worked in four color. It is crocheted in the round starting in the center and working outward from there. This is an intermediate crochet project that works up quickly."

This is the first time I can remember seeing anything from this designer, but I will certainly be looking for more projects from her. This bookmark is a delight, and if you have trouble working with small hooks and thread, you can bump it up a little to a larger size. Its also great practice to get the technique down before moving back to the thread. Thanks so much for introducing her to our community!
