Crochet Essentials: Handy Guide to All the Basics is the perfect book for beginner crocheters to have on-hand. Even if you do not consider yourself a beginner crocheter anymore, this book is a great one to have in your crochet library. You never know when you'll need to brush up on your skills or teach someone else how to crochet. Plus, there's certainly a tip or trick included in this book that even you might not know.
It is divided into seven different chapters: Crochet Hooks and Tools, Techniques, Crochet Instructions, Two Ways to Crochet, Granny Square Techniques, Checking Your Gauge, Details and Finishing Techniques. Literally all of the basics of crochet are covered in this 31-page book. Each chapter includes large color photos to help teach the reader exactly what is being discussed.
The Techniques chapter includes basic skills such as single, double, and triple crochet, as well as interesting twists to basic stitches including no-chain single crochet, front post double crochet, cable stitches, and more.
