Easy Crochet Baby Cardigan
Easy Crochet Baby Cardigan
"The baby cardigan is for zero to three months. The normal worsted weight 4ply yarn is used for any gauge. I used a grapes color yarn, I think it is the best color for the boys. It’s very easy to wear and these days you have to choose very easy things for your babies to protecting him/her."
Crochet HookD/3 or 3.25 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Materials List
- Grape color worsted yarn 4ply
- Crochet Hook 3 mm size
- Crochet needle
- Matching Buttons
Instructions
First I made the back side, then the front and left sides, and then the sleeves. When I completed all my parts separately, I sewed all the parts into the wrong side of the jacket. And then made the neckband and button band. I used the crochet needle for the sewing.

I wrote to you before but you did not write back. I love love love this pattern. Is there any way you can rewrite it for an 18 month old? I think so many people would love it? Even if you just did the sweater and the hat and left out the booties it would be ok. I'm so glad that I chose this pattern for my very first sweater. So easy to follow and looks exactly like the designer's picture, although mine doesn't yet have buttons.

This set of Easy Crochet Baby Cardigan with booties and bonnet is really so cute, it would look good in a baby boy or a baby girl. The design is very classy, and the stitches used give a very attractive texture to the cardigan. This would look awesome in a vibrant color, pastel or earth colors. It's up to you. The possibilities are endless.

I so appreciate her effort with this baby cardigan and matching hat. There are several stitch patterns incorporated into the cardigan sweater. Because of this, it makes it much more interesting to look at AND will keep your attention if you happen to be making one! It just uses any medium worsted weight yarn.
