Disappointed in the written instructions. After watching the video, I realize last instruction should have said, repeat Row 3. Then there are no instructions for the border. Very disappointing

This posting referenced a video twice but does not furnish a link to get to the video that is supposed to show how quick and easy it is to make this babys afghan. The instructions included on this page say to change colors as desired, but how do we change colors to make our afghan look like the one pictured. Video link is needed and more detailed instructions should be provided.

I would like to add a correction to my comment above and say that when I closed and reopened my browser that the video and link did appear at the top of my page.

I would also like to say that after watching the video, my other questions were answered. I am sorry for the confusion and would increase my rating to 5 stars.

Wow! This Sugar and Shine Baby's First Afghan is drop dead gorgeous! I love the light and contemporary feel of it. It's soooo bright! I'm glad that it's labeled "easy" as a pattern and that they've given the multiples for larger widths of blankets. It's also great that there is a video for us visual learners!!! Thanks for the free pattern!

Since you've made this can you share something the instructions do not? What size are the skeins how many ounces are needed and what is the finished size? Thank you.

I haven't made this one but like the way it looks. This is a simple and so easy afghan to make, I just wish the pattern was complet, it's missing the directions to do the border. My question is the written pattern for the same afghan as pictured? It doesn't look like it to me? I have saved this one and hope the pattern will be updated soon. Thank you for sharing.

Border Looks like she double crocheted around and 3dc in each corner. I think would then sc around that row to tighten the blanket.

I havent made this, BUT I did watch the video. It shows how to make the body and border. I never saw any instructions for the colors that go in the 3 double crochet "holes". I want to make a blanket just like the white, teal and grey. Please help. Cathy

I made this for our newest granddaughter in colors her mommy chose. I switched up the pattern of the colors and made it a little larger. They love it!

The fact that these are not the classic baby colors that we think of when we hear the word baby- that gets bonus points from me. I love a modern look sometimes. I love the home decor colors that are used. Do you know why? Because you can coordinate or match it to the baby's nursery, paint on the wall, and bedding colors for a cohesive look that is so fresh. Watch the video tutorial. She is so fast!

So gorgeous! Not my favorite colors but that is so easy to change. The best thing, and thanks to the very clever design, is that simply by using a few different colors makes it does look like it is not at all an easy thing to make. So which ever new little person you make this for is going to be so wonderfully cuddly and warm when wrapped in this lovely cozy afghan! So gorgeous!
