I love beautiful simple patterns like this for multiple reasons They are fast to make up and that means I can always have one on hand. They are easy to tailor to fit the gift giving occasion, such as gender-specific or family favorite sport team colors. They are always an appropriate gift. Thanks for the free easy pattern!

The pattern should have indicated how the squares were joined, rather than leaving the joining open-ended. Otherwise, a nice pattern.

i made this blanket for a friends baby shower and her mother wanted a larger copy it was so easy, and i found that i could add a little pizazz to the blanket by doing some of the panels striped
