This is a gorgeous color and would make a beautiful gift for my friend's upcoming baby shower! I have never done crochet before but have been wanting to learn at least the basics so that I can make ore personalized items for friends and for using around the house. This blanket will help me learn some beginner stitches as well as end up with a lovely little gift for my friend's kiddo. For anyone who has completed it already, approximately how many hours did it take you to complete? Thank you!

Peach is my go to color when I want something still in the feminine range, but not necessarily pink. Not everyone likes pink (unless youre a four year old girl and into princesses). At 30 inches square, its the perfect size to welcome a newborn. That J size hook makes it work up quickly, and the stitch pattern itself is easy and repetitive.
