I see that this is shown to be a patriotic project and it is simply beautiful in our country's colors of red, white and blue. However with the change of colors to match you decor this square could be incorporated into a project for your home. The design is beautiful and would be pretty in any color combination.

This square works up to a twelve inch square and that would be appropriate for a lot of projects. Or you can select to use a crochet thread and create a smaller version also. As with Granny Squares, the options are always endless. This square is so "frilly" or lacy in the red and white parts but the edges give it the needed design to allow this to be joined in a larger project if you would like. Thanks for sharing this project.
