When I run across a retro pattern I typically can see that item from sometime in my youth. Boy what I would give to have some of the real items from back in the 50's and 60's.

This retro round ripple pillow is really nice. I really love the muted tone of the sea green. I can see that a lot of love went into this design. All the added texture is a plus as well.

I am so glad that I found this. When I was little both my mom and grandma had these on their sofas. I have always wanted to make some for my bed. They are not that hard to make and will bring back great memories. Thank you so much for posting this .

The full pattern can be found here http//idealdelusions.blogspot.com/p/retro-round-ri == pple-pillow.html . I love finding retro patterns for items that people actually did have in their homes way back when. I remember looking at old family pictures and seeing this type of pattern used in pillows and afghans. Thy were all the rage back in the day.

Great retro pillow. My Granny, who taught me to crochet, used to make these when there wasn't a pattern. I'm happy to see the pattern now and I will continue in her tradition of giving these as a gift with love. Thanks for the smile. Very easy to understand and follow.

I love the retro look of this pillow. It brings back childhood memories of visiting a relative's house that had pillows like this. I made a striped pillow with big covered buttons on the side so I'll make at least one of these to go with it. I like that the designer tells you how to make the round pillow form, too.

We purchased a 60's home 5yrs ago and this pattern is the perfect one for that era. Many of my family households had crochet/knit pillows and the likes. Thank-you for sharing Doris Yocum Turner )
