This was not a stitch I had seen before. Thanks to Rhonddas excellent explanation and step by step photos, it wasnt nearly as intimidating as I thought. None of the actual stitches used to form the Globe are hard. The most fiddly part is Slip Stitching the chain spaces together to form the actual Globe. I havent tried working each row with a different color, but I can easily see where this would look like Easter Eggs.
