Sizes 8 mm (U.S. L or 11) and 9 mm (U.S. M or 13) crochet hooks or size needed to obtain tension.
TENSION
8½ sts and 8½ rows = 4 ins [10 cm] with smaller hook in sc pattern.
INSTRUCTIONS:
The instructions are written for smallest size. If changes are necessary for larger sizes the instructions will be written thus ( ).
BACK
**With larger hook, ch 37 (41-47-51-55-59-63).
1st row: (RS). 1 dc in 4th ch from hook (counts as 2 dc). *Ch 1. Miss next ch. 1 dc in next ch. Rep from * to last ch. 1 dc in last ch. Turn. 35 (39-45-49-53-57-61) sts.
2nd row: Ch 3 (counts as dc). *1 dc in next dc. Ch 1. Miss next ch-1 sp. Rep from * to last 2 dc. 1 dc in each of last 2 dc. Turn.
Rep last row until work from beg measures 7 ins [18 cm], ending with RS facing for next row.
Change to smaller hook and proceed in Sc pattern as follows:

I am working on the sleeves of this pattern where it says to shape top. I have been dc and now the pattern says to ad but I did not see where it switched for dc to ad in the pattern?

This is a nice pattern. I expected something a bit different from the name but it looks like a comfortable pattern. I do like sweaters done in pieces since I feel they fit better that way. It is not a hard pattern and should crochet up quickly. I do like the neck, especially for the colder weather. Thank you for the pattern.

I am working the back and noticed the rows are narrow-er after I changed to the sc stitches after the 7 inches of DC sts. Is this correct? Also, it would be helpful to put the number of stitches at the end of each row but then the very 1st row lists 35 (39-45-49-53-57-61) sts. does this count both the DC and ch sts for that row?

Hi ldhent327 2520509, yes, it is correct for the rows to be more narrow after switching to SC with the smaller hook since the sweater is being worked from the bottom up. The number of stitches will stay the same for each row until you reach the armhole shaping portion. That number of stitches (35, 39-45-49-53-57-61) does count both the DC and ch stitches for those rows. We hope this helps! - Editors of AllFreeCrochet

Not really what I was expecting to find as I dont really categorize this pullover as being a boho or Bohemian sweater. It does however look like a very comfortable sweater as described in the credits and it is available in a lot of varying sizes. There should be one there to fit almost everybody.

Interesting. Looking at the only picture provided for this pattern, I am intrigued by the "open-weave" design in the bodice and the sleeves. I like the design and think that it really adds style to the pullover. The wearer would most likely have to wear something underneath to ward off the cool breeze but that may be an added layer to the look. The neckline is also interesting.

So many good things about this pullover pattern I'm lovin' it! First it has an "easy" designation and with it being a classic that it's "easy" is even better. They also thought of us plus sized women. That's good too! I think I'll try to make this one up in Sirdar Plushtweed. Thanks for the free pattern!

Okay, so I am not a lover of things around my neck but I am loving the design at the bottom of the sleeves and the bodice. The open weave pattern is very attractive. The fact that the pullover has multiple size options to make is even attractive.

I see there was a lot of confusion with the link to the pattern for this sweater, but looks like the issue has been resolved with the pattern being added here to this feed. Just wondering is the confusion in the instructions had been cleared up also as I see there were questions and a lot of confusion about the sleeve construction.
