I had never worked this stitch before so I wanted to make a swatch before committing to a bigger project. It was surprisingly easy, and by the 4th row, the spider was becoming quite evident. The only change I was suggest is that starting in Row 3, you will want to place the Single Crochet (in the 5 Chain Loop) NEXT to the Single Crochet from the previous row.

I just love learning new stitches or old ones made into new looks. This Spider Web Stitch Crochet Pattern is one of them! I like the 8 row repeat pattern to make a great looking spider web. My grandson will love this done in a light weight bed cover. I'll be making this one in blue for him. So happy to see and learn this one. The written directions are so easy to follow and understand. Thank you for sharing this free crochet pattern.

This is a very pretty pattern. I think it will look beautiful done up as a table runner. It's open, yet a very pretty pattern. It's easy, so it will make up fast. And it won't take much to make it. That's three of my basic rules when I pick a project. Thank you so much for offering it.
