I am trying crochet for the first time and I cannot find out what 2 dc means. I know it is double crochet but the 2 is throwing me off. Does it mean a cluster stitch?

It means you should do two double crochets in that stitch. Thanks - AllFreeCrochet Editors

I love these. They are a bit longer than sixty minutes, but not by much. This was the first project with cables that I have been able to make because of the pictures. I would, however, suggest that this pattern be changed from easy to intermediate. The cables are a challenge to make and warrant an intermediate rating.

I started to make these slippers 2 hours ago. I am stuck on Row 3. You you please give a better explaination of this row? I can't for the life of me figure it out, and I do not know how many stitches I should finish with...22 or25???

ending with 22 or 25 stitches will depend on which size you are making. good luck

For this to be a easy pattern, there are stitches that I have never heard nor do I understand how to do these stitches.

I agree. I am an experienced crocheter, and I would not consider this pattern to be "easy", as there needs to be some experience to be able to creat cables with the stitches shown. I do understand the stitches, but they are not common and would, I think, prove to be difficult for a new beginner.

These slippers are very nice. I also love the fact that you show step by step video on how to work with posting. I will be giving these a try as soon as I write the pattern out. I no longer have a working printer so I am stuck writing all of my patterns out right now. A big pain in the you know what lol but I have no other options. Good thing I can download and save my patterns. Thank you for the lovely pattern!

I like theses so much, and I will start doing them now for my mother -in-low, I hope that I could do them. Thanks.

tried several times to get the pattern, but could not. Very disappointed, wanted to give it a shot. :-(

@ravon1215: The pattern should be available when you click "click here for crochet pattern." We have tested the link again just to be sure, and everything seems to be working properly. Please contact us through customer service if you continue to have difficulties! -- Editor of AllFreeCrochet
