I know what you mean. Yes, this is the basic slipper socks design that can be made for any age, any color, and for many purposes. I think this is just single crochets all over. It's very easy. I want to make a white pair for my granddaughter.

As much as I love to walk around bare foot it is not a good idea to do that during the cold winter months. Having these basic crochet slipper socks is a win win for me. No more cold toes and I don't have to worry about a hamper full of dirty white socks. These are great for the whole gang!

I am so glad that the designer gives approximate measurements for these slippers. It makes it much easier to size them when I make a batch for donations. I have a short, wide foot, so mine is not exactly the best model for sizing things. I know many of us crafters donate newborn hats, but dont forget about seniors and veterans in nursing homes.

These do look nice and toasty. We chose not to carpet our home downstairs and these will be great to walk around in during the chilly mornings - any idea how to add grip to these so we are not slip-sliding around?

you could try tulip puff paint on the bottom of them, I did that once when my nephews were little and worked like a charm

Super easy!! I did use a chain 2 for the start of each row instead of a chain 1. I'm on my 5th pair in 2 days! Thank you for sharing.
