This is a sweet looking shawl, and I love that the open work design allows it to work equally well as a scarf. This wont be too bulky if you wrap it around your neck! The lacy sections are lovely, but its that chain trim that really sells it. The designer has provided nicely written instructions, but what I really appreciate are those symbol charts! If you can read a chart, you can literally work a pattern in just about any language. Love me some charts!

This Sunny Day Shawl is very pretty for a summer day outing. Since I am not a fan of pinks and blues, I guess I'd like to change the pink to yellow and the blue probably to brown or rust. The possibilities are endless for this type of accessory. Love it!

. It is a rare find when I find a pattern that I am interested enough in to actually make without changing the colors. This sunny day shawl is beautiful just the way it is. The next time I find myself in town, I plan on going to the local hobby store to get the materials to make this.

What a beautiful pattern. I have some Sweet Rolls yarn that I have been wanting to use, so I might use it along with some off white to make this. This is a very versatile shawl. I love it. It looks intricate and difficult, but after reading over the pattern I see that it is actually very easy.

This pattern is too cute. I love that the design is "open" and can be worn when there is a chill in the air and not be too overwhelming. I love the multiple colors and would be adorable in a single color. Thanks for the free pattern.

Wow, BEAUTIFUL SHAWL!! Thank you for the free pattern! The crochet pattern is lovely and I believe that it would be just as lovely whether made in a single color or multicolored as in the pattern photo. It also looks quite a difficult pattern and looking at the finished shawl is going to give me a real feeling of crocheting accomplishment, lol!

You don't find very many shawls to wear during the summer months. I think people forget that it can get cool at the shore, especially when you're wet the air conditioning inside restaurants and movie theaters is brutal! She has done a nice and thorough job writing her pattern, too. Seems easy enough to make. A worthy project that I can start fairly soon to have it in time for the evening summer chill.

This is a very pretty shawl. After looking at the chart I think it is probably going to be very quick to make as well. I like that the size is easily adjustable I like over-sized shawls. Adjusting the size also opens it up to many more possibilities for its use.
