I can not wait to get to the craft store in search of the yarn to make up this pattern! I have a huge collection of yarn but nothing like the yarn asked for in this pattern, the color changing type shown here. Have you made this in a solid color, and if so, which color? I would love to see some of the other crocheters' shawls when they have completed them.

Despite my ever burgeoning yarn stash, I have yet to pick up a Shawl in a Ball. Ive looked at them, handled them and like them, but never really had a pattern I wanted to work up with it. This project looks like something I would enjoy, and because I know this yarn is soft and delicate, I am definitely changing that initial Chain and Row 1 to a Foundation Double Crochet instead.

I envision this boho shawl in serene shades of pale aqua, stone, mint...Is Shawl In A Ball available in a specific colorway such as that? No matter, there is a color called Moonstone which is amazing! This is such an all-purpose pattern that ANYBODY can work up for themselves. I like being able to use more premium yarns for beginner projects, too!

I think this Boho Light Crochet Shawl will be just what I need for this summer! I am a very cold person and always looks for something to cover me up. The one has some nice airry holes but just enough material to keep me warm. I like the what the pattern is written and it's easy to follow. I just need to buy the yarn and make this with the fringe. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet shawl pattern.

What a quick project to work up to have ready for the first days of Spring. This color yarn used here reminds me of fall but with a different color is shouts "welcome Spring" with the open design. I love the frilly fringes!

This is the perfect pattern to start my neighbor with. She is always commenting on the crochet items in my home and states she would never be able to make anything. This pattern requires only two stitches and gauge is not important. I hope I can convince her to give it a try. Once she has a completed project under her belt I know she will aspire to complete others.

I see this same pattern was featured already just a month ago because I see my comment from August. I always check out the whats HOT patterns and newly added patterns on your site daily. I seem to be seeing the same patterns quite often. Please feature some of the other patterns that could use a little TLC.

I absolutely am in love with the Lion Brand Shawl in a Ball yarn. I have an oversized sweater poncho vest hybrid on my hook right now, but I have run out for yarn to join the pieces and for a nice couple rows of trim. I will be finishing this very, very soon. Now, THIS shawl will be the next Shawl in a Ball project I'd like to start! Please give this a try.

This is a very light and airy crochet shawl. This would be perfect to wear here in Florida. I always keep a wrap handy because of cold buildings and restaurants because of the sudden contrast in temperatures when going from outside in the heat to inside a very cold air conditioned room.

This is a nice shawl but very flimsy and has big spaces. Maybe some people will like this. Here's the link to the pattern http//www.mamainastitch.com/one-skein-crochet-boho == -shawl-pattern/
