The "Easy Comfort Shawl" is indeed quite an easy one to make. It will provide enough interest and fun, and give you a step up from a basic beginner pattern- yet it is easy enough to maintain your stitches without even thinking and having to count. This is not really a shawl, because the width is not there. I'd say it is really like a super scarf. But a nice one!
