"Beautifully lacy and lightweight the Shades of Grey Scarf is designed to look beautiful from both sides of the fabric. Little fans make up the stitch pattern and are prominent on one side while simple post stitches create the illusion of diamonds on the opposite side. Lovely to wear and lovely to gift. This is such a pretty scarf and I love that its reversible, too. The fans are worked across the width of the scarf, and if you want to make the scarf a bit wider, the designer gives the formula for that. Everything is explained in very detailed, close up photos of each row. This delightful project is also available to print off or download, too. Im thinking shades of red and pink for Valentines Day.

The stitches used in this Shades of Grey Yarn Scarf are new to me. At first I thought they are crocodile stitches but they are actually fan stitches. They monochrome grey color used here looks so beautiful. I can't wait to start this.

What I love so much about the stitch pattern used in this scarf is the fact that it mimics the crocodile stitch- which I STILL struggle with! So now, I can do THIS one instead, and still get that same look same effect. She calles them "fans", I call them scales. She makes it look easy! Thanks for this pattern.

I love the colors of this scarf and it looks quite warm.

I love that this scarf is neutral yet is still visually interesting with the ombre look of it. This would be such a great everyday option in winter since it will match with anything but still be fun to wear!
