Crochet HookJ/10 or 6 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet Gauge14 sts x 13 rows = 4” (10 cm) in pattern. Exact gauge is not critical for this pattern.
Materials List

Red Heart Baby Hugs Medium (100% acyrlic, 4.5 oz/127 g/247 yd/225 m) – 1 skeins in 4255 Orange (MC), or approximately 75 yd (68.5 m) in any medium weight yarn.
Red Heart Super Saver (100% acrylic, 7 oz/198 g/364 yd/333 m) – 1 skein ea in 313 Aran (CA) and 365 Coffee (CB), or approximately 50 yd (46 m) in ea of 2 colors in any medium weight yarn. - US Size J-10/6 mm crochet hook, or size needed to obtain gauge.
- Yarn needle.

I love the striped effect with this cowl, but Im somewhat ambivalent about the fringe. I also must confess that I like the larger blocks of color on the additional sample more than the thinner stripes of the original. As for the Udderly Smooth Hand Cream, I can definitely vouch for that product! I keep a tube of that by my bed, in my car, and next to the kitchen sink.
