I've always loved white - white top, white pants, white sofa, white tiles, white afghan, white blanket - and this, white scarf. So immaculately clean. This will look great on solid colored tops.

Named the Meringue cowl by the designer on her blog, this cowl does work up super-fast. The written instructions also contain a video tutorial on how to work the stitching on this super easy cowl. It looks like snow by using the white yarn. This will make a great stand by pattern for a last minute gift.

I always have trouble determining the proper length for a cowl, so that it sits at the right level- not too long and not too short. This Lightening Fast Cowl is the PERFECT length to keep you warm without being too tight or intrusive around the neck. I like the colorway, too. I like it!

this was so easy and wonderful. love the finish product so made a few more as gifts

Loving how easy this pattern is and how quickly this pattern works up! Can't wait to make several of these for gifts this year for Christmas in all different colors!

good pattern but you need to double the length of chain.

Hi i am from the uk I am new to crochet and have attempted this cowl 4 times now I am having real difficulty can you explain is a us dc the equivalent uk treble crochet, so instead of 1dc 1ch 1dc it would be 1tr 2ch 1tr and then would i still miss 2 stitches or would it be miss 4, please help

It should be 1tr 1ch 1tr. Then you would miss 2 stitches as the pattern says. Be careful not to change the number of stitches when you convert it from us to uk terms. Find a conversion chart and keep it by your side while you are working on you project. Good Luck!
