Finishing
Pin Scarf to measurements and cover with damp cloth, leaving to dry.
Fringe: Cut lengths of yarn 16" [40.5 cm] long. Holding 3 strands tog, knot into fringe at each side edge picot. Trim Fringe evenly.

My eldest granddaughter is very much into the Western looks I know shell appreciate this pattern. I like the breezy open texture that lets you wear this lovely accessory with a variety of styles. This nicely repetitive pattern is from Bernat, but I didnt find it at the Yarnspirations site. Its probably out there floating around on the net somewhere.

Hi, I really want to make this, but am confused in the materials list--it says 85 g or 400 g....so which one is it...how much of the thread do we actually need? I am having a hard time finding this thread also.

Love, love, love! This is so perfect for spring and summer wot wear with tanks and tees! Made from cotton it will keep me from sweating bullets. It looks stunning up against white, too. Oh, well, I would make one in white for sure! That long and flirty fringe adds such a romantic look to it. This is a very unique scarf to wear with confidence!

Congrats mythrilgirl 5035463 on having your name suggestion used. What a great play on words. The country cowl girl scarf is very feminine looking and very country looking at the same time. Would be a great fashion accessory for almost any casual outfit. The pattern looks simple enough and the color is very popular now.

i thought of "Simply Elegant" because thats what it is..You can wear it for dress up or casual. You could add some sparkly beads to really dress it up.
