Using a variation of the puff stitch you can come up with this lovely Angel Stitch Scarf. Free crochet scarf patterns like this look best when you use a variegated yarn instead of changing colors manually. There's also a video tutorial for you to watch and learn how to crochet it.

Could you please give me a brand name of variegated yarn in the US that would be comparable to the yarn you used.

I just watched your video on making the Angel Stitch Scarf and started working on my scarf while viewing. My first 2 rows look GOOD! My only comment, constructively given, is that when showing the hook use maybe slow your movements down the first two times thru so we can see really clearly where the hook goes and what happens to the yarn as you move thru the pattern. I had to stop and start quite a bit because of your speed (which some day I hope to achieve!) and the size of the video frame. I really like the look of this and hope to complete it over the weekend. Thanks for the video tutorial to go along with the pattern.
