Lately we've been seeing a lot of super chunky patterns like super scarves that are made with bulky yarns that you just want to snuggle up with. Well, yet another one of those yarns is calling your name; introducing Red Heart Boutique Irresistible Yarn. The name pretty much says it all, but this is a jumbo yarn weight that will satisfy your crocheting needs.

With 31 yards of 90% acrylic fibers and 10% wool fibers, this yarn truly is irresistible. For those who love to work up one skein crochet patterns, this is just the yarn for you; work up scarves, cowls, crochet throws and so much more. Because it's such an incredibly thick yarn you can start and finish projects in no time. Not only is it fast and easy to work with, but you'll quickly become addicted to it.

When you're looking for trendy fashion items or home decor projects then the acrylic to wool ratio of Irresistible will make you radiate. Make note that this yarn does in fact use a dye lot, so you have to buy enough of the same dye lot to complete your project. As you may have guessed, you have to hand-wash your projects in cold water and lay them flat to dry. A yarn like this will easily pill and fall apart if not cared for properly.

Aside from its sheer softness, Irresistible comes in 16 fabulous colors you'll love working with. Some of which include Berry, Enchanting, Charisma, Oatmeal, Teal, and Tiramisu. The only downside you might find about this yarn is that it sheds. The yarn is beautiful and your project will be too, but just know ahead of time you might find some fuzzies on your clothes or around the house.

Bulky yarn, and especially a jumbo yarn like this one, is great for working up quick projects and wrapping yourself up with pure coziness.

What would you make with such a jumbo sized yarn? Comment below and let us know.

I would love to make a herringbone blanket with this yarn especially on a cool fall evening. It would be so nice and warm as well as elegant to look at with the color of teal mixed with white.

I'm very cold natured. I would use this yarn to make myself a wrap.

Not sure at this point, I do not think a garment for summer would be the best but I would think of something.

Cowl

I saw an bulky afghan in a recent women's magazine. This yarn would be perfect for that afghan!

I would make a scarf or a rug. Normally I would also think about a cowl too, but since this brand sheds I wouldn't want it around my face.
