It is impossible to have too many baskets. What a wonderful way to use up all of that extra yarn from left over projects. I like that this basket pattern incorporates a handle at the top. Almost worth purchasing yarn just to make the project.

I do not know what it is but I am always finding yarn in the second hard stores when I cruise the isles. I am such a thrift shopper, I never actually buy any of it. When I get home, I almost always kick myself for not burying it but I know it will just sit in the closet, until now. Perfect use of all of that cheap yarn that I keep passing up on.

oooo.I love all of those bright and pretty colors that are used in this basket pattern. I see this pattern is made with Drops yarn. Does anyone know where this could be purchased or does it have to be ordered from the UK online store? Does anyone know if there is an alternate yarn that is equivalent that is readily available in the US?

I love how there are instructions to make the basket as tall or as short as you'd like. The design gives us handles as well, which is very convenient. I can see this in the laundry room or your child's room- boy OR girl! For a boy, use shades of red, blue, green, and yellow. Such a cute idea for a new mom, too. I appreciate the webpage giving us tips on seamless color-changing and spelling out how to do the special stitch- the crab stitch.
