Pretty Plastic Bag Pouch

Plastic grocery bags accumulate quickly, especially if you're someone who runs a lot of last minute errands. Stow away unsightly plastic bags in this Pretty Plastic Bag Keeper. This simple crochet project is a quick work up and super easy to make, too. With drawstrings at each end, all you have to do is stuff it full of bags and pull the strings tight. This is a great project to store in your pantry, or hang from a closet door, making those pesky plastic bags easy to hide and easy to access.

Such a great craft fair offering, and something that nobody thinks about until they actually need to use it. It seems like a great way to make some extra money before the holidays, so that you can buy more yarn for yourself. -) My mom has one of these hanging inside her kitchen cabinet. They ARE very useful!

Oh. Good idea for keeping grocery bags. Great organizer. You can just let it hang in one corner of the kitchen then you can just store used bags in here. Can be done in dark or light colors, it's up to you. Great a gift, too, for a busy homemaker.

This is definitely a different bag holder than I have seen before. I made one last week with hair ties on either end, which is really great. I might have to give this one a shot, to see what the difference is. Maybe this will be my new favorite bag holder!

This is a practical project. If you do reuse those plastic bags provided at most stores this is a great way to hold on to them until they are needed. As for myself I try to recycle them when I do accumulate them. For the most part, I use recycle bags to start with. Reduce when possible and recycle if you are able.

Who among us have actually went out and purchased one of these? Well I can remember when they first became popular, I did. What a waste of money. This is the perfect solution. Having a plastic bag pouch made with yarn, we all know there will be a little extra give in the fabric just so that you have hold a few more plastic bags. I want one to hang on every door handle in the house. It would not hurt to have one in the car too.

I have been looking for a pattern like this Pretty Plastic Bag Pouch. I think I'll make mine longer and with the new cabinets I don't want to put wholes in to hang this, but can hang it in my laundry room. I think this pattern will work out great for it is well written and easy to follow. I'm going to start making Christmas gifts now and this one is a must for every home. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.
