i have never made a felted item before and this one will be my first! I love how easy this One Hour Crochet Hook Case is. The pattern is so easy to follow and make. I'll be making a few of these to give the grand kids as a pencil case, and a few for myself as crochet hook cases. I'm thinking of making a long one for my longer, and bigger crochet hooks. Looking forward to this one. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet felted case pattern.

I'm like you elocin1104 2800379, I've never felted before, but it's sooooo fun to try new things. Don't you think? It's great you have your mom to help you! I always check out the yarn company that the artisan lists and I noticed that the company this one lists has a purple called "Italian Plum" that is drop dead gorgeous! It's very rich and vibrant. I really like their silver gray and I think I'd use it for myself!

I love how easy this pattern looks. I have never felted before, but my mom has. If I make some of these, I am pretty sure she could help me felt them and put the zipper in. I will have to find some good wool yarn that I like the look of. I like the green here, but I prefer purple.

This is such an easy pattern that I intend on making more than one. I won't felt it.mi will line mine so nothing falls out and put some embellishments on it. I also will make a fold over top with either a button or magnetic closure. I don't like zippers.

Thank you for this pattern. I tried to make some fancy case for my crochet tools but it did not turn out the way I needed it to be. I will be making this bag instead and just add to the pattern to create a flap for a button.

I am going to make this soon. My notions bag is so worn it is getting holes and to be honest I could use more than one for the millions of tapestry needles, stitch markers, scissors, etc. This bag could also be used for kids pencil, markers and crayons, so I may end up making some for my kids as well.

The purse is great and I could really use one like that, but NEVER in my long life have I used the word "simply" in connection with installing a zipper. Whether by machine or by hand, in fabric or crochet, putting in a zipper is major, aggravating work. The same goes for velcro. I might make this and use magnetic closures, but I'll have to put small items in ziplocks.
