This is really lovely. I think I might have it open at the narrow end and perhaps put a flap on it with a button closure for safety. I love the design and the colors. Great job!

No it's not a sleeve! A sleeve is something you would slide it in and out of whenever you wanted to use it. This is a cover such as you would have on a book - it stays on in use and it doesn't stop you opening the book.

That's very interesting that you say that, because I did not get that from looking at the picture. Maybe I would not have figured that out until I actually worked it up for myself. It really looks like a sleeve. Now, as far as the pattern- I am crazy about these colors and the texture of that cluster stitch! Did you make one of these?
