Kitty Cat Granny Square
Kitty Cat Granny Square

"This kitty cat crochet granny square is such a fun and whimsical little project with tons of personality! By changing the colors of the kitty’s head and spot, you can make tons of variations of this pattern. Use this square pattern to make a kitty themed blanket or pillow, or just attach it to a gift for your favorite cat lover! It works up rather quickly and is a great advanced beginner project. This project uses small amounts of yarn - you could easily make a dozen or so granny squares from one skein of each color yarn!"

Purr-fectly adorable. I am the proud grandmother of a wonderful all black kitty. I will have to make the change to crochet this in black for "Meyhem" as we so adoringly call him. I can not even pronounce his name provided by his Mom. I adore being able to care for him for the time needed. I will miss him when he moves back in with his parents.

I am an animal lover and this is such a cute square that I can not help but want to make. I really love how the cat is made a real part of the square. I love white kitty but I would love to have this made in all color kitties.

I have a great idea for this super cute kitty cat granny square. i envision a tiny decorative pillow for your favorite cat lady! Perhaps add one more row to give it a tad bit more size, then make another square in just the solid color. Join them together. Stuff it with polyfill. Might have to sew a couple of small pieces of fabric to make a pillow form for the polyfill, though, as there are naturally some holes in the granny square.

This pattern is so cute. I could think of several cat lover friends of mine who would love a lap blanket made in their favorite color, perhaps the cat could be in the color of their cat white, beige, yellow, black, brown, even a variegated for a calico look. I cant wait to try this out.

This is an example of one of the best patterns that I have seen in a long time. It's written in plain language, and straight forwRd. Then there are pictures to use as references. I want to make this in different colors and turn them into a throw pillow . Thank you for sharing.

This square is just adorable. How easy would it be to make an entire litter of kitties in all different colors and assemble the squares into a childs blanket? The designer takes the crafter step by step through each part of the square with well written text and wonderfully detailed photos. While you can use just about any kind of yarn, it might be fun to try working some kitties up in a furry type.
