Bursting Center Crochet Granny Square

This Bursting Center Crochet Granny Square has so much fun going on in the middle, as though the center is erupting towards the edges. The detail of this granny square is outstanding, and the outward rings even look like icing has been delicately dribbled along the pattern. The crochet granny square pattern will call on you to flex your intermediate crochet skills, although it will help you along with its tutorials. One of these would be a great project to relieve stress, or you could make multiples to hook together a larger project.

This bursting center granny square is amazing. I can imagine making this in so many different colors, and then combining them to make a beautiful afghan. You could also make them using cotton and have some amazing dish cloths. There are so many things you can do with something like this. Do you have any great ideas?

Wow this is beautiful. Very intricate. It makes me think ethnic. It's beautiful when made into a huge blanket or a huge afghan.

Lovely pattern. This pattern reminds me of designs I've seen from Germany, Austria and Nordic countries...

Ive been wanting to make a biscornu ever since I stumbled across the concept, so Ive been looking for the perfect granny square to use. This gorgeous square ticks all the boxes for me! Biscornu are basically two offset squares sewn and stuffed, and are generally used for pincushions. At 12 inches, I should be able to work these up into beautiful little boutique pillows.

Great, unique pattern! I'd like to sew two of these together, make a lining, and have a little handbag. I also think they would make cute potholders. The design is more contemporary than other granny squares. There are so many color combinations you can use that the possibilities are endless.

This is a beautiful design. It's very elegant. I know an elderly lady who will love this. Her birthday is in August so I need to get working on it. I think I will make it as a lap afghan since she spends her time in a wheel chair most of the time. I can make a matching bag for her too.i am so excited to find such a perfect pattern. Thank you so much for sharing it.
