I love my swiffer but I do not love the purchase of replacement clothes. They can become pricey and who has the time to clip coupons? So I was not using my swiffer as much as I wanted to. Now I can break it out daily to clean up. Now the broom will be pushed way back in the broom closet.

What a way to save the earth. Swiffers are a really cool invention, if you want to call it that. My mom used a dust mop on her hardwood floors. (I have looked for them but I can not find them anywhere) Now I feel okay about buying one because I really feel like the replacement pads are wasteful.

I need a new Swiffer Cover! I made a few years ago using Worsted Weight yarn and they just didn't hold up. I see this pattern uses cotton yarn and I think it will work better. I like the updated design for this Swiffer cover. What a great way to save money and save the planet from all the trash.. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.

I love this Swoofer! I will definitely be making one or two of these! The pattern looks really interesting, like it would make a great Scarf too. Also, you could add loops to make it more of a dry duster. Best pattern for this application, thanks for sharing your talents with us.

How about a triangular design for steam mops?

I love this Swoofer. I will definitely be making some of these for my handles also. We dont have any pets, but we do have a lot of bare floors which attract a lot of sand from outside and dust from inside. This is a fun design to customize to my favorite colors. Cotton yarns are great.

I have a Swiffer at home that needs a replacement head and since I never go to the store to buy one (haven't in years) well then, why don't I just make this myself?! I like the cotton yarn for it's washability. It's really neat idea, and I thank the pattern designer for bringing this to us. I can save my money now.

I really like this idea. The pattern seems easy enough to follow, and pretty simple to understand. And since I like playing around with patterns, after I've made a couple of these mop heads, I definitely will be playing around with this pattern and seeing if I can't come up with some awesome new ways to change the pattern or use the pattern with slight differences in other patterns. This one is definitely one for the pattern box, though!
