The day after Thanksgiving I pull out the Christmas dinner ware. Over the years it just seems to be such a tedious job. Now that I have found this pattern my life has become a lot easier. Instead of having to drag dishes from the top kitchen shelf they will be neatly hidden on the sideboard under these cake covers. Wonderful!

As usual, I am thinking on how to make this pattern my own. I love this and I think I can take the concept and use it to be a dish cover for those holiday dishes that get stashed after the holiday. This is a way to dress up my sideboard with different sized to cover my dishes. Thanks for the inspiration as time is nearing to pull those dishes out.

This is a cute idea but I think I would dispense with the Styrofoam cake form and just stuff it instead as the designer suggests. I collect all sorts of food patterns for my grandkids to use in their play kitchens. I have cupcakes and cookies, but this is the first full sized cake Ive seen. I do wish this pattern had a few more photos to go along with it though.
