http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/marguerite-beret I did a google search for this pattern and found this link since the other one is broken.

I am interested in making this beret but your link to the pattern is not working. Could you please fix the link or in the alternative, send me the pattern to my email. eliz010@hotmail.com. I see several comments about the link being broken, and I hope that you will please correct it. Thankyou

Can you fix the link please????

the pattern link does not work.

The Pattern link doesn't work...

I prefer the beret. More feminine and fashionable, especially for us older folks.

I like the beanie and the beret but would probably prefer the beret. I have very short hair and that seems to be a bit more feminine.

looks like a mushroom needs a scarf to complete the gravy

I like the texture and the look of this hat over the other one.

Altho I am not a hat-wearing person myself, I prefer making the beret style hat as it is more stylish, versatile, and "wearer-friendly".

I like berets better. Save the hair style a little.

I like the beret type hat. My mom was from France and maybe that is why. Also, I think I look better in this type of hat, especially as I get older.

I like to make more slouchy ones due to the fact that I make some for chemo patients and they are much more comfortable and stylish than something that clings to the head like a beanie

I prefer ths slouchy because it can be worn as a beret or as a slouchy, and you can even pull it down over the ears if you want.

Nice looking but I'm totally lost with these instructions!

In this context, I thought that MC meant Marguerite Crochet - Main Color makes no sense in the instructions! Meanwhile, I need help with the instructions. For the MC increase as printed, it looks as though you do two Marguerites for 3 in the row below. That is not an increase, it is a decrease. Further, if you skip a stitch in the Marguerite crochet, it further decreases the round. Please explain!

Hi sprewmom, MC means "main color" that is used for the pattern. Thanks!

What a great beret....but i'm very confused about what an MC is in the pattern....help please, anyone? thanks, sprewmom
