This is a very delightful project and a great new free pattern. It looks very labor intensive. I wish I had found this a couple of months ago because I have a friend who was looking for something extra for her daughters costume for Halloween which was a unicorn. Little girls sure love unicorns and some big girls do too.

I do know adults who would want one of these and wear one, for sure. I am surprised that the patterns that I have come across are just for kids! Adults like their cosplay, you know. ANyway, my idea for how to make this hat fit an adult is size waaay up on your hook- perhaps to an "N".

OMG how cute is this Magical Unicorn Hood. I love it and I know my Granddaughter will love it too! I so need to make this but with a rainbow color yarn, and I need to figure out how to make it larger.. Has anyone made this one yet? Any tips to make it larger? I'm thinking of just making the first part longer, but I'm not sure that will work. I've saved this one and hope to figure it out before Christmas. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.

There is nothing better than this unicorn hood! It is so cute, and the pattern is really easy to follow! I know any little girl who loves horses or unicorns would love to wear this hood! I can see some adults wanting one too! I know I would like be it, and it would be so much fun to wear! Has anyone tried to make the hood bigger, for an older child or an adult?

Oh my gosh. This is so cute! I want a magical unicorn hood for myself hahaha. Oh boy, I cant wait to show this to my friends with young kids, they will love it. This could be used as part of a Halloween costume, a school play, or just for every day make believe play. I know several of the mothers will one want for themselves also.

Unicorns and crochet? how can this get better -) I think the mane makes it very special and it would be easy to add extra sparkles with sequins .

How amazing is this!! I am so impressed! Thank you so much for sharing. I know some little girls who will be receiving this for their birthdays haha! I do alot of ewok beanies and I always dread sewing on the ears ! Any tips so they are sewn on identically? Thanks!
