I love this hat! First of all, it reminds me of a pineapple, especially if you use it as a Messy Bun hat. Any hair sticking out of the top would look like the pineapples leaves. That combination of Slanted Shells and colorwork really give this project a unique look. And that drawstring makes it look unisex to me. My hair is short, so I would choose to pull the drawstring closed when I wear it.
