This is a beautiful Basket Weave Hat pattern. The directions are very well written and a easy read. I think this hat will be great for cancer patients in the cold months. I like the color idea below for the guys using tweed, so I'm using that. Thanks.. I will be making these beautiful hats and giving them out at our local cancer center. I always see men with no hats on and I hope this will help them.. Thank you so much for this free pattern.

Love this hat it was a get hit with everyone made it in tweed for guys and all different colors was very easy to make thank you

I love this hat. I would love to where it in the winter when I'm out walking my dogs.

I love beanies! They are warm and comfy and my kids can't get enough of them!

I love the look of the basket weave.

I have always loved the beanie style, I think that they keep you warmer than the beret

I prefer a beanie style, and even more so, a skull cap. Since I have such a small head, it is always hard to find a skull cap and kids sizes don't seem to do the trick. Berets seem too bulky and cumbersome.

I like the beanie type since they keep you warmer than a beret, which doesn't quite cover the ears

I think berets look better on other people. I just don't know how to wear them.

in Alaska, you wear what keeps you the warmest, not what looks the best. People don't care much how they look when it's minus 50 below.

I really like the weave pattern.

I can't find what I want--little boys' caps and hats.
