was easy! made it longer than tutorial, in black and white. it was more sturdy than my son wanted so I rolled it up about 1 1/2 turns and added a a crochet rose made with same colors and now it is mine.

does the slip stitch at the end when joining count as a stitch?

Loved the video tutorial! Followed it faithfully and made my very first hat of any kind and it came out so well it'll be a gift for my dad this Christmas. Thanks for taking the fear out of trying something new out of crocheting for me! :)

my boyfriend is a fathead. I think next time I'll try two additional rows of increases. Other than that, a great vid and a great pattern. Thanks.

Great video. What do you do when you miss count? using a different type of yarn so I think it made it more difficult to count.

good video but would like to see someone have the hat on so i have an idea of how it will look

That was a fantastic video - I will make a beanie today!! thank you so much!
