Secret Garden Crochet Granny Circle

Do your outfits look a little plain? Then consider including romanticism and sophistication to your everyday outfits with the Secret Garden Crochet Granny Circle. Simply make multiple crochet granny circles in an assortment of bright colors, then join the circles to create a shawl or bag. The crochet granny circle pattern uses sport yarn for a lighter look and texture, so your creation will be comfortable to wear even in more moderate temperatures. Crocheters who are ready to try something a bit more complicated than the standard crochet granny square will love the complexity of this intermediate-level design.

This is an unusual application of the granny square. The author gives a complete set of photos detailing each step of the square until the main flower motif is done. At the bottom of that set of directions, the author gives the next step as how to join the flowers. However, there doesnt seem to be any way to access that step from this first one. I checked the comments but didnt see a link there either.

The second part of the tutorial is available here https//dada4you.blogspot.com/2015/10/secret-garden == -crochet-shawl-tutorial.html and the third part here https//dada4you.blogspot.com/2015/11/secret-garden == -shawl-free-tutorial-part.html

This is BEAUTIFUL! So eye catching!!! And as a crocheter that can't/doesn't follow written patterns I am SO happy that there are pictures included!!!! ASC

These "Secret Garden Crochet Granny Circle" are amazingly beautiful! I can't believe how precious these look. They are truly a work of art. The best part for me? I read through the entire pattern, and it is really actually easy! You just have to follow the pattern, that's all. She provides many pictures to show each round as you go, so you can really follow along if you feel you need the extra help. There are no intricate stitches that are difficult to accomplish. I want to make a bunch of these right away to show off!
