Crochet HookG/6 or 4 mm hook

Yarn Weight(3) Light/DK (21-24 stitches to 4 inches)

Crochet Gauge3 SHELLS with single crochets in between and on each end = 3 inches
7 SHELL Rows = 3 inches
9 hdcs or scs = 2 inches
4 hdc rows = 1 inch

Finished Size3 to 9 months

Materials List

DK weight yarn, one skein each of three main colors plus small amounts of other colors
2 Buttons
2 Snaps

This dress is so cute and creative! You could even hook this as a flamingo Halloween costume... though I have a feeling my niece will want to wear this daily.

This is just too cute. I am going to make one for my grand niece. And as soon as I do I know I will be besieged with pleas to make more. This is Florida so you know it will be a hit. It's easy and well detailed instructions are great!

This has to be one of the funkiest patterns I have seen for ages, I love it and wish I could make it in adult size for me. The pattern is really easy to follow with step by step instructions and images showing how to piece it together. I decided to use a Moreton subtle background colour as was not keen on the bright green and used a pale green along the bottom 4 rows and then pale blue, this made the flamingo stand out even more. The dress is crocheted in two pieces but I think next time I may try and crochet it in the round in one piece, what do you think? Would this work? There is also a bonus pattern of bright pink flamingo coloured pants.
