Cuddly Crochet Koala Baby Lovey
"Make this crochet lovey pattern for your favorite little marsupial. The koala works up quickly using only one skein and some scrap yarn, which makes it a perfect baby shower gift idea. Instructions include a bow that can be used as a bowtie or a ear bow, making this crochet toy totally gender neutral. Crochet HookG/6 or 4 mm hook, I/9 or 5.5 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet GaugeThe gauge isn’t necessarily important on this project, but since the head is amigurumi, you do want to find the appropriate size hook so that stuffing isn’t showing through. If there are gaps in your head, switch to a smaller hook.

- Scraps of grey fun fur yarn, black yarn and yarn for bow

I have views a few crochet lovey items but until this one, I have not been inclined to make any of them. Perhaps what is attractive to me is the use of a single color through out the project making the item seem whole. This Koala baby love is just too cute.

My first born son had a "lovey". We were travelers when he was little. We were always on the road to Grandma's house and I found a travel pillow with a dinosaur print. He would not leave home without it and even after a zillion washes and now just a thread bare reminiscent, I still have it and he will not allow me to trash it. He would have loved an item like this.

Oh my this Cuddly Crochet Koala Baby Lovey is so cute! The written pattern is well done and easy to follow. I so have to make this one for our newest granddaughter. I think this would aso make for a nice bed buddy. The color for this Koala is nice and I have some. Yah.. I'm looking forward to making this cute baby..
