Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

This doily has more of a modern touch to it. Most doilies will be very intricate and almost flower-like or lace-like. If your home has a modern design, here is the doily for you. She's made the sample using the medium weight acrylic yarn, but leaves the choice up to you as to whether or not you want to use a cotton yarn instead. I would love to use the "I Love This Cotton!" yarn found at Hobby Lobby. I think it is the perfect choice.

This is SO pretty! I'm not quite advanced enough yet to crochet this, but this will be first on my list once I get better!
