To make this as a dishcloth, use standard cotton thread and it will turn out fantastic with the right thickness and usability. I've also made several like this as a hot pad in worsted weight/aran and they've always turned out great, too. Can't got wrong with such a great simple pattern!

Great easy pattern. I had no problem hearing it and it was easy to follow along.

Love the idea, but CANNOT hear it, audio is terrible! Have a youtube tut? Just curious? I also, don't hear or see you say, you are using TWO strands of yarn? Your instructions are: Crochet Hook: J/10 or 6 mm hook Yarn Weight: (4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches) Where is the SECOND color? BUT OK job with a video! Make it so we can HEAR it, and be more 'specific'. Other than that... ok job and TY!!! Read more at

This is great, a easy pattern too. Thanks

This is a "hot pad", not a "dish cloth", right? Anyway, I like the easy pattern and will be making several as hot pads. Way too thick to be a "dish cloth".
