This reminded me of one of the first Christmas ornaments my daughter made in Kindergarten. Hers was a cardstock triangle, with construction paper for the face and hat, and cotton balls for the beard and pompon. The author provides a nice little tutorial on making the long Loop stitch. I have been working on a pattern for a poodle hat, and this stitch will be just the thing!
