Silky Panda Crochet Shawl

"The Silky Panda Crochet Shawl is named for the super soft and silky Panda Pearl Yarn that it’s made from. It’s a semi-circle wrap made in 3 colors, so there is no need to clip the yarn from row to row. This wrap is great for cool summer evenings, as it is very lightweight."

This silky panda crochet shawl pattern has been around for a while. I can see that Cheryl Y wanted to make this for a Christmas gift back in 2016. I wonder how it turned out for her. I agree that the directions read easy and I hope I will not have any issues and after making it I have all intentions to post it so that others may be inspired.

Only for a moment was I wondering why the name silky panda shawl. To date, I have never used the silky panda yarn. It is a little pricey but some items do merit the use of quality material. As a gift, I am sure that the recipient would greatly appreciate this shawl for more reasons than one.

I find this shawl very conservative with the collar clipped. But I find this style more convenient because the arms are free unlike when the shawl is left hanging and supported by the arms. That is so tiring. But this one is conservative and the colors used are elegant.

This pattern is really beautiful. Glancing over the pattern, it is also relatively easy to follow. I love the combination of colors used here, but I would also consider using only 1 color for the whole pattern. Has anyone made this in 1 color? Did it turn out nice? Any advice would be appreciated!

This is a beautiful looking Silky Panda Crochet Shawl! After reading the written pattern and the comments after the pattern, I sure hope this turns out. The pattern is stated for easy and I I've done harder ones so with fingers crossed, I'm giving this on a try. So want to give as a Christmas gift, only a week away. I love the colors and the trim is beautiful! Thank you so much for this free crochet pattern.
