How to Crochet a Basket Weave Stitch: Part 2

I think Mike is a good teacher but he goes to fast. Mike also needs to use a brighter yarn that you can see a little better. The grey yarn showed the pattern better. Mike also speaks up and down sometimes so you have to keep adjusting the volumne. I think if he remaked both videos using a lighter yarn, go a little slower and try to keep his voice at the same volumne it would be great. I had to keep stopping and going back to see what he did because his fingers were also in the way a lot. Thanks , I did learn learn the stitch but it was rougher than some of the other teachers video's, Thanks Michael.

Michael is an excellent teacher. Like the way he so calmly glides us through the glitches like difficulty in punching through correct position, extra stitch on row, cure for gap at row end -- (male, left-hander, teaching complicated stitch -- and doing it so well -- WOW !) TY so much.

I think Michael Sellick certainly knows what he's doing on the basket weave stitch, but he moved way too fast, his fingers were in the way and it was hard to see what he was doing. Fortunately I'm familiar with this stitch so I wasn't completely lost, but if I was not familiar with that stitch I would have been totally frustrated. Maybe he could make these 2 videos again, going slower and letting the viewer see what he's doing.
