Like the State Farm commercial with the lady and the blue suede sofa - "Have to have it!" Not only do I plan to make this as a necklace but I have the idea of making these mini granny squares and making matching bracelets to go with them. I love Granny squares and any chance I get to make them, I either save the pattern or go for the gusto. Love this idea.

I love granny working squares and in all my years I never thought to make them into jewelry. I like the idea because I can create many different colors and have a new necklace to wear with each outfit.

How cute is this Tiny Granny Square Necklace! What a novelty it would make a one of a kind for sure. It will be fun picking out colors too. I just saw a flower necklace and she used Mod Podge to make it stiff to last longer. That is a good idea for this project too!

This has to be the cutest granny square I have ever seen. I used dmc embroidery thread from my stash to make the smallest version that I could and made some matching dangle earrings to go with it. I a man going to make a second set to give to my mum on Mother's Day as I think they would make an ideal handmade gift that will stand out and that no one else will have. I used a mix of drapers starch and water to block my finished piece to make it stiff enough to stay as a square.

I just love this Tiny Granny Square Necklace! I'm not a big fan of granny squares for blankets but thisoh wow there are no words to express how cute this is.. I am making a few of these for sure, they will make great gifts and if I had a craft booth I'm sure they would sell out quickly.. Thank you so much for this easy free pattern.
