Krista Calge

Krista Cagle is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and she spends most of her time with family, dogs, and of course yarn. Easy Crochet is her crocheting outlet and creative diary. She has a passion for crocheting and loves sharing her obsession with everyone.

Krista's husband of 10 years, Chris, is very supportive of her yarn addiction. They have three kids, Elise, Alex, and Sam, who keep them super busy.

Krista is a BIG animal lover, especially of dogs. She has three rescued dogs, Oscar, Gus, and Penn, who were (and still are) her inspiration for the Rescued Paw Designs name. She encourages all who are thinking about getting a new best friend to adopt not shop!

Krista, not really sure where to leave a note that you might see it. Hopefully, here is okay. Regarding your pattern for the Chunky Crochet Blanket.... When it is displayed on the pages of allfreecrochet.com, it lists the hook size as follows Crochet Hook 9 or 1.4 mm hook (steel) In the actual pattern itself, it is correct, reading as Crochet hook size N 9.00 mm I just wanted to let you know that, on the original site where it is displayed, though, it has the very confusing mis-written hook size, and I thought it might be disconcerting to a crocheting beginner. Thanks for sharing this beautiful pattern! Kind Regards, Stephanie L. Smedes
