Heather Tucker

Heather Tucker has been an enthusiastic crocheter ever since being introduced to the art by her grandmother at the age of four. Having started so young she never learned to hold her hook "correctly," but the rapid development of her skills and the increasing complexity and accuracy of her work proved early that dedication and a whole lot of practice are at least as important as technique.

Heather tends to think mathematically, and that has always influenced both her professional and diversionary interests. All of her designs, for example, have elements of shape, angle, texture and symmetry; everything, in other words, that should appeal to a logical mind. She has always experimented and created but has only recently developed an interest in writing her patterns down. Sharing her designs brings Heather a lot of satisfaction, of course, but nothing brings her as much joy as learning that someone has taken one of her patterns and built upon it, creating something new!

I am making the crocheted textured reversible afghan and I'm stuck on row 43. The crossed stitch row. Is there a tutorial or can someone help me please.

I made this blanket and it's beautiful. Thank you for all the helpful and useful information that you add to your patterns.

I got the sailor suit pattern for my great grandson, before Mothersday but was unable to print it. Ive bought a new printer but now when I found the pattern all I get is a message stating that the pattern has been sold. How can I get my pattern?

Heather thank you so much for the free patterns and including a chart. It is really helpful to know the finished sizes and how much yarn to purchase before beginning a project. I usually try the patterns on something I have on hand first. I had not seen No Beginning Chain Egg Blanket before but I love it! Really different from most other patterns. I know I will be making the cuddly Zebra Blanket for another granddaughter to match her room. I currently have 5 granddaughters, and 3 grandsons, with another granddaughter to arrive in July! So I stay busy crocheting!

I am having a hard time figuring out the pattern. The repeat is given as 32 + 3. But when I follow the pattern, it comes out needing 46. What am I reading/doing wrong?
