Cathy Wood

Cathy's crochet manifested into a blog as she wanted to share what she was learning at the time. Then, as she progressed, she was able to write patterns and wanted to share them for free in return for all that she had learned from others on the internet.

Cathy is a mother of 5 grown daughters and stepmum to a step daughter and step son. Between her husband and herself, they have 11 grandchildren. She is very family orientated and loves getting together with them all. At the age of 10, she sat and watched a friend make a granny square in the school playground. She became interested and then made a few of her own. It was not until about 2007 and with the help of the internet that Cathy could read from a crochet pattern and learn how to make more than just the good old humble granny square. Not long after that, Cathy was writing her own patterns.
