This Simple Clean Slate Bag is exactly what it sounds like—blank and ready for whatever you want to add to it. Im not a huge purse fan, but this versatile bag really caught my eye. I love the button detail at the folded side. The designer gives instructions about how to make the bag larger (2 different ways). She also gives one of the best explanations for a Bridge Row, i.e. that half round you work when dealing with Continuous rounds. The pattern is available as a print out or download, too.

What a great simple, basic crochet bag pattern that will allow you to customize and personalize it to your liking. You can literally make this bag in every color in the crayon box and each one will come out looking differently- when you add your embellishments! What a nice weekly crafting group project to work on with the girls. I like this one.

This is what I really needed. I make crochet purses and sell them and it's always nice to have a few like this that you can de orate as people ask for them. I add all kinds of embellishment , like beads, bows, ribbons and never over look buttons. I made a very plain purse like this and found some very cute buttons at the thrift show to add to it. That added just the perfect look.

Sometimes simple is better! This bag looks very roomy, and the plain color means it will go with anything you wear. A great everyday bag!
