"A few weeks ago I traveled to Honduras to meet a very special girl. As I mentioned in my post when I got back she loves dolphins, the color blue and drawing. I immediately thought a blue pencil case with a dolphin on it would make the perfect gift! So when I got home I designed just that."
Crochet HookF/5 or 3.75 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet Gauge19 stitches by 20 rows = 4” square. Gauge is back loop single crochet worked in the round.
Finished Size Laying flat 7.5” by 5.25”

- Yarn Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton 1 skein each of Aqua (color A) and Silver (color B)

This is an ideal gift for a dolphin loving preteen or teen, and wants something with the motif that doesnt look too babyish. I love how the complete image of the dolphin wraps around from the front to the back. That tiny detail really adds to the sophistication and modern look of this pouch. Dont be fooled by that dolphin chartyou need to enlarge it to see all the pertinent squares.
