I love this pattern! I found that using a Latch Hook worked really great for doing the mane. I even made a horse from the pattern.

Hi, is this pattern in American or British crochet?

Hi Silver, this pattern is written using American crochet terminology. We hope this helps! - Editors of AllFreeCrochet

What is not to love about this Rainbow Cuddle crochet unicorn? Look at the mane and the squiggly tail! I can not wait to make this. Right now I do not have a person in mind to present it to, but if nothing else I can donate it to the church during the toy drive. I love this colorful little buddy.

This chubby guy reminds me of the unicorn toy in Despicable Me. HES SO FLUFFY!!! I had to add this project to my amigurumi files because sooner or later, Ill be working him up. This is actually an easier amigurumi pattern because it is so large. It doesnt have lots of small fiddly bits to turn and stuff. The designer gives several photos at the end of the page detailing the tail and mane construction.

GAH! This has to be the cutest crochet amigurumi pattern that I've ever seen! I can't wait to make one!

This is such a cute design and would make a great gift for big and little girls alike. Even though the pattern states intermediate it is really easy to follow and despite only having learnt to crochet a few months ago I found it easy to make. The hardest section was the tail but you could use single strands of wool like the mane rather than crocheted pieces.

Oh dear! This unicorn looks super cute! I love unicorn and would love to make this one! I was a bit disappointed to see the label "intermediate". Haha. I'm still a beginner. But I read all the other comments saying how easy to follow this pattern. Maybe I'll give it a try. Thank you for sharing the pattern! Cheers!

just keep working and practicing, in my expereience i noticed even inter mediate patterns can be easy. If you dont know a stich you can look it up on youtube as well! good luck on making it!

i adore 1dogwoof's patterns! Always easy to follow and perfectly well written. That is one cuddly unicorn! Definately need to make one of this.

This is one of the easiest patterns, thank you for making it so easy to follow. I made one for my grand daughter and her friends now all want one. I offered to teach their moms to crochet but they would rather I make them.i don't know whether to thank you or smack you for coming up with this idea! Lol
